I wasn't sure if I'd be too scared, but it's been long on my list of things I want to try sometime, so when offered the opportunity I couldn't really say no. We had a test ride around a few local streets first, so I could see what turning corners and so on was like, making sure that I didn't lean too far in, and it was all fine.
At the end of the day, I was pretty confident and managed to enjoy it as I figured that Josh (who invited me to the gig and was in charge of the bike) wouldn't do anything stupid/life-threatening/whatever because he was on the bike as well, and wouldn't want to endanger his own wellbeing :)
